Passion in the Air: SEPC 2013

Image

We couldn’t be more excited to be in Atlanta for the 2013 Southeastern Panhellenic Conference. “SEPC unites college women to explore philanthropic initiatives, leadership programs, and social excellence education. Through the diversity of all members and our shared values, we strive to empower women to impact their communities and ultimately our world.” (SEPC Mission)

We are honored SEPC adopted the Circle of Sisterhood Foundation as their philanthropy in 2011. Over the past 3 years we have been able to make an impact around the world for girls thanks to the support of SEPC.  We’re looking forward to the next 3 days of the conference and being able to make even more impact thanks to the support of this wonderful organization.

It was one year ago that I passed the Circle of Sisterhood table SEPC and was drawn toward it by the bright colored shirts and by Ginny Carroll’s smile. Without knowing much about this organization I quickly pulled out money to buy a shirt. At that moment I had no idea that the two minutes I spent learning about Circle of Sisterhood would grow into a deep love for the organization. The passion I have for this cause is endless. When I was holding the director of philanthropy position in Panhellenic we did many activities to support Circle of Sisterhood. Although I do not hold a position my love for Circle of Sisterhood continues to grow by the activities my school sponsors throughout the year to educate not only Panhellenic women, but my entire campus. Circle of Sisterhood is near and dear to my heart and a philanthropy I look forward to helping everyday.

If you are lucky enough to be attending SEPC, please stop by to see us!
